The Colleyville Parks and Recreation Department sponsors a variety of activities for the community. These include recreation programs, youth athletics and special events. Plans include adding adult athletics in the coming year. Colleyville also has a strong volunteer base for youth sports and other worthwhile projects.
Ongoing classes include an exciting program with activities for ages 18 months to adults. The city sponsors a youth basketball program and summer track team along with assisting the Colleyville Baseball Association, Colleyville Soccer Association, Girls Softball Association and Football Association.
In addition, the department sponsors several events throughout the year, including the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Tree Lighting, Halloween Happenings, and others.
